Like I have said before, someone need to make a compilation of situations where Salah has been denied stonewall penalties and free kicks in dangerous areas, just to get the ball rolling in a campaign to address this.

We won yesterday, so people don’t care as much about it, but what if we had drawn or lost.

It actually gives more credibility to do it after a win, Klopp would have gone ballistic n the sidelines yesterday if he did not sit in the stands.

Surely Jurgen can squeeze in a sneaky comment about the stats on Mo's fouls in a press conference. The sending off game would have been ideal ' I'm sorry for my actions but am getting more and more frustrated when you see how obvious it is that Mo is unfairly dealt with in every game '.

I am a critic of Elliott at times and he started woefully but when we attacked and when he assisted the goal gave him confidence and he had an excellent rest of first half. I thought he faded badly in the second too. He weakens us defensively because he's too slow, but can be excellent when attacking. I've said my piece on him in his own thread but a 7/10 yesterday overall for me Clive.

think that’s completely fair. I said to my old man after about 20 mins that he needed to get himself into the game as it was passing him by.

Re the bold bit, I’m not sure it’s entirely his pace, but also as Dave said on the pod, he’s learning to play the position also. There’s no way he’s markedly slower than Henderson but he isn’t fast enough for sure to make up for him not being perfect in position or reaction on top of it.

Either way, slow start, great assist, strong middle and overall pretty good performance on balance over all.

I wasn't sure the Mo thing was a pen at the time, but ultimately the defender is behind him and grabs hold of him. If they were side by side, he could do that and its just a tussle, but when the forward is ahead of you and you grab him, it's a pen.

We got away with one last week though, so I'm not too bothered about this other than I'm sick of Mo not getting ANY decisions.

If they were side by side and he grabs him, it's still a foul, illegal contact. It's just never (or rarely) called. A foul is is foul, no grey areas, no "it's not enough". Just constant piss weak refereeing. It's not fucking rugby.

er...

The shape of the earth isn't a matter of opinion.

A close call in a football match is.

Happy to help.

How was this a close call?

Drags Salah backwards to the ground, and is nowhere close to the ball.

The ref's defence will be that Mo still got a shot off, they'll ignore that he couldn't take a shot in rhythm because his leg was clipped and then scuffed it because of getting dragged off balance.

Stonewall, but I can see the bullshit reasoning and it is how they generally call them.

Embarrassing when you see that one City got last week.
