I think traditionally "prison" was where people were locked up and "gaol" was where they were hanged, so...

Nah the traditional position was that there was no concept of long imprisonment.

Gaol was used to await trial or await execution or deportation etc.

In the 19th Century as we moved towards a Beccarian strategy of punishment then we introduced differentiated terms of imprisonment and then we started to use the term prison etc

But the prospect of Johnson being hanged is still there?

that martin Daubney has tweeted today that people trampled on poppies during the protest last night and posts a video to prove his point.

The thread is full of toothless simpletons ranting about "two-tier police (their latest go to)

predictably when you watch the video, a man with a flag is told to get down of the statue by a busy, he duly obliges, and no poppies are even touched.

So not only does he lie, but he provides a video, to prove he is lying, and people still believe him.

I think i am living in some parallel universe at times.

It's actually unhealthy how much I'd like to kick Andrew Pierce in his stupid smug fucking face. I'd pay good money for the opportunity. There aren't too many people alive I hate as much as I hate him. Vile, smug, weasely little tory cunt.

you would never tire of smacking his face with a monkey wrench
