In It For The Money isn't even that highly rated when compared to other albums that were out around the same time, but its fucking brilliant.

Supergrass were fucking brilliant though.

I agree, great live band too.

 

My point was not about their relative quality, but about how big the band were. In my opinion Supergrass were and are infinitely better than Oasis but Oasis were undeniably bigger.

yep. Supergrass have a great diversity of songs and a brilliant back catalogue. I might not listen to them for ages but they always pleasantly surprise when I tune back in, irrespective of what album I put on.

Urban Hymns was a superb album. Space and Time, Velvet Morning, Catching the Butterfly, Come On, Rolling People and One Day are all brilliant, not to mention the singles.

 

Northern Soul was great too, the first album by The Verve that I heard.

 

Lord I Guess I'll Never Know and This Could Be My Moment are 2 of my favourite Verve tunes and neither were on an album.
