I think if we don't go out and get someone to play along side him this summer, then it looks like Lovren and Matip are here for the longterm. Klopp's only flaw for me is his loyalty and its slightly misguided at times, with players. A bit more ruthlessness wouldn't go a miss.

I don’t think it’s misguided loyalty I just think he can’t move everyone on at the same time and needs to use these players at times so can’t afford to ostracise them too much barring Sakho who I think Klopp realised was the most dispensable popular 1st Team player and decided to make a point in flexing his muscle to show he doesn’t tolerate any sloppiness or unprofessionalism, if you aren’t up to a certain standard then you’ll go the same way as Sakho.

 

Klopp knew Mignolet wasn’t good enough a long time ago but Karius wasn’t ready so had no choice but to play Mignolet, now he believes he’s ready, Mignolet doesn’t play anymore. He’s realised that Lovren isn’t good enough that’s why he drops him all the time and will probably be in for another Centre Back in the summer, he realised that the midfield isn’t good enough or at least isn’t what he wants so has bought two dynamic Centre Mids in Keita and Ox. Klopp is far more intelligent than any of us on here and knows who’s got a long term future and who doesn’t but he’s also intelligent enough to know he needs the players he has here until he gets his No.1 targets.
