Just looked into it a bit more. The burger is from the Boot Room Cafe restaurant which is nearly a tenner anyway. So my question to those complaining about it remains the same, how much is reasonable to charge?

People will complain about anything.

That's just moving the issue sideways. The burger is overpriced to start with. £19 is a joke to sit and watch a game. If they are going to start doing things like this, put a big screen up so people can watch away games and charge a fiver.

£19 is only just shy of twenty is plenty.... a staggering sum of money.

If it was just 'sitting and watching the game', I'd agree. But a legend and food, plus 9 quid for the kids. It's optional, so I don't see the issue.

Again, its the game, food and a Q&A. It might be expensive but attack the actual deal and not the made up one.

This 'deal' was probably known about some time ago.  But got an email from the club today 'celebrating' the first ever 'sleeve sponsor'.  Yep, the new 'signing' just ahead of the first game of the season is announced to great fanfare and special offer.  Western Union now on the sleeves of the kit.  Wait for it.  Special 'opening offer'.  Send money via Western Union for £0 fee until 31st August.

Timing is everything isn't it.  Just before the first game of the season when the support has been crying out for an actual signing or two, they announce a 'sleeve sponsor'.

Surely they're actually trolling the support now.  You gotta laugh, or you'd cry.

Oh for fuck's sake. How many times? All PL clubs can now have a sleeve sponsor. Clubs are announcing them now because they couldnt do it last season when they were not allowed. The 'deals' dont happen overnight, it takes time to find a sponsor and then talk about the money.

In the last 4 or 5 weeks about 8 PL clubs have announced their deals. I think city were the first to announce theirs about 2 months ago.

I reckon if you fell asleep in the stands you'd wake up with sponsorship on your forehead.

Don't give them ideas. Sponsorship face painting for kids on matchday. Get our sponsors symbol painted on your face on matchday. £5 a pop.
