The lunatics suggest selling him really are fucking idiots. Mo is just an utter unrelenting phenomenon.

I don't want to sell him either but it's a fair argument , not lunacy, to say we should move him on at the end of the season.. The team is in transition, he costs a fortune and better when his legs do start slow down its on someone else's training ground.

It's crazy isn't? He is 30 years old, fit as a fiddle, available for every game, scores 20+ in every season and still people want to sell him, constantly pointing at his wages.

Batshit mental.

I think meaningless is a bit harsh but I get your point. It’s all very sky sports era.

Regarding that list does anyone else get up to Ian Rush’s numbers and just think ‘what the fuck!?’

Aye, the Rush numbers are mental.

And he scored with his right foot. Hopefully he won't be so reluctant to use it again from now on - it would give him so much more space as well as opportunities if defenders weren't so sure he was going to shift the ball to his left.

That was such an un-Salah goal.  Salah bends it. Salah chips it. Salah dribbles around defenders before passing it into the opposite corner to the one you think he's going to aim for.

Yesterday he added "just twat it" to his repertoire.

Imagine if FSG said they wanted to flog him for those reasons. There'd be riots and rightly so.

Well, unless FSG try to release/create more cash for Klopp to compete with his rivals it might be the only way for him to raise those funds. Needs must etc.

Doak. Give him a chance, don't just buy others and leave him as some after thought.

Doaks not going to be ready, ideally you have Salah, his future replacement and Doak in rotation and when Salah does go everyone moves up.

Doak is 17. He is not going to be able to replace Salah in a year. Or even two.

Owen was 17 when he came through. Bajcetic is 19. and he seems to be coming along. How the fuck do you know how Doak will be doing in a year or two, you arrogant little shit?

Yes, that phrase 'give him a chance' is indeed hard to grasp. But try a bit harder, eh?

Some of the people on here today, it's like they're wearing Martin Samuel masks.

So are you suggesting we don't buy another player for that position or we do but also give Doak his chance, because you don't seem sure over the space of two posts.

We've needed someone cover Salah for a while and given his contract expires in 2025 some cover coming in summer 2024 or January 2025 seems prudent, More so if he can play a few positions,  irrespective of Doaks development.

If, for whatever reason, salah leaves in the summer of 2025 you already, hopefully, have that position secure and if Doak is the player we hope he'll be then he's perfectly placed to take the job without the pressure of being the ONLY player slated in that position.

Best thing about Mo is how he improved throughout his career. Hard to believe he played for Chelsea against us in that awful game at Anfield in April 2014. Looked like a skillful if lightweight and unspectacular attacker. At times in his early days with us, it looked like he'd need five chances to score one.

I don't think the colossal challenges that himself and Sadio Mane overcame to even reach Europe as professional footballers in the first place can be underestimated, and then for both to rise and rise to the very top like they did.  Both have the mental strength of champions.

Egyptian King.

Bajcetic is 18 since October
