Let’s just all calm down. Every game as it comes. Breathe, breathe.

11th March 2023 at 12:30. If there are any available tickets for this game, please may I request consideration for one so I can stand screaming at Naby Keita for 90 minutes, realistically while he’s malingering on an expensive sofa somewhere hundreds of miles away. Thanks as ever.

Unlike my fellow Norwegian compatriot (he-who-shall-not-be-named), I'm normally very reluctant in talking up players from our country, as they invariably lack some of the basic skills or capabilities to succeed in the Premier League. I think I may have mentioned Forren, Hangeland and Daehli on here before (the two former as cheap alternatives as 3rd/4th choice CBs, and Daehli as one to watch). This kid, however, is as close to a sure-fire success as I've seen on a football pitch... Talking about Suso in the transfer thread, I thought I'd bring up this guy, as he's got some of the same skills, and judging from what his coaches say about him, he's got the mental aspect of t…

Dave could only fall on his sword after Tuesday's debacle. I'm not sure if I've ever started a match thread, and if I have it was years and years ago, so lets see if I can bring around the positive run I so clearly deserve. Same team as Madrid for me, barring maybe Bajetic for Kieta and Gomez for Matip. I think Bajetic needs a rest at some point, even just mentally. He's had a lot for a kid.

The other thread titled 18/19 is irrationally annoying me. We’re into September, surely it’s time for a new one.

On a roll now and it's surely thanks to me taking over the match threads. 2-1 win for this one. Maybe even more if Darwin plays (don't think he will). Salah and Jota.

So it's on me to do these for now then seeing as how I ended our losing streak. Same team as Monday other than Virgil coming in. I'd leave Gomez out but its a toss of a coin as Matip hasn't been much better. Rest of the team picks itself. 2-1 win, Darwin and Virgil.

Fingers crossed anyone has a couple of spares for this one, as I hope to take my son to his first Liverpool game *dries single tear from eye*

I see no-one has started a thread for this so I'll do it. My track record is mixed but at this point we're so shit it doesn't really matter. I'll be honest, I don't even want to go to this one as I feel like I know exactly what to expect and it's going to make me miserable. We're not suddenly going to start playing well out of nowhere, and this game plays perfectly into their hands. Dyche loves this kind of situation. They'll sit so deep they'll almost be in Goodison. They'll throw people in front of shots, protect their goal at all costs, time waste like fuck and wait for the mistake from us or a set-piece they can capitalise on. We could win this…

Just listened to the podcast. Useful therapy Just a point raised if FSG sell a portion of their shares it is their money. What they choose to do with it heaven knows. Private Equity basically works on multiples of investment so in medium invests 2 or 3 times is a decent return in say 3 to 5 years. So if FSG bought for 400m and sold for 4bn 10x return is massive Partial sale same principle, they may keep the cash, some of it who knows. Don't know if FFP would be an issue for them to put cash in I assume not it would probably just sit in the books as loans/debt. Long answer to you query is that it is up to FSG. but they don't have …

Can't see a thread for this one. I'm not looking forward to this. I wasn't before the injury to Nunez and confirmation firmino is missing again. Yet another injury where we get told a short period and it goes on and on. Whoever is doing our medical assessments are fucking shit. These seem ideal to give us a tough time. Even the most limited teams seem able to pass through us, front to back, without any issues at all. I'm not one of these who think Brighton are amazing, but they move the ball well through the 3rds. The only big plus is our other kryptonite is anyone who plays very high intensity and I don't think Brighton are one of them. I wonder…

We need to fuck these. And I think I'd feel happier if they'd have been playing well. And 12.30 kick offs are nearly always flat as fuck, but we need to be up for this. The team is tough to pick. A few players you worry when they have too many minutes - Gomez, thiago, keita and konate obvious candidates from the game the other night. I'd keep the midfield, but I feel certain fabinho will be back in. So I reckon klopp will go Ali, Trent, robbo, konate, Gomez, fab, thiago, keita, Salah, Nunez, gakpo. 3-0. Nunez 3.

I'd like us to win. Bringing the kids over for this, will have time to kill so going to try stalk the players. Anyone know the match day routine for an 8pm kick off? Do they stay in the Titanic Hotel for late kick offs and would they go for a stroll after breakfast?

Worried about this one, very worried. Even though Toney is out, our midfield looks bare and it wouldn't shock me if all three of Fabinho, Henderson and Thiago don't start. Nunez and Mo will both need go score if we're to get a win, I reckon. Ali, Trent, Konate, VVD, Tsimikas, Bajetic, Keita (uh oh), Elliott, Mo, Carvalho, Nunez 2-2

We’re spending New Year and the following couple of days with the entirety of my bird’s family. If I could sneak off for a few hours, get pissed and watch the reds win, it’d be a great get out for me and a cracking start to the new year. Please, thanks and all that jazz.

About the best side we could pick although maybe we could have played Elliott up front and Mo in the middle. I think we’ll just sneak it but it won’t be pretty .
