We've got a new keeper, CB, a sort of CM and a wide player, so a left back makes sense, and Klopp's said there was still a chance of some transfer activity.

Was hoping the same.  Arsenal look like they have their fair share of problems at the back. Hopefully Mane and Origi can make our defence irrelevant in that game.

I think we can forget getting a LB. Anyone decent decent either won't come or or out of our league and I just hope we don't embarrass ourselves by paying silly money for some dog turd on the last day . Just look at Balotelli to see how that works out.

He failed a medical at 'boro and I think he's still.out following surgery.

I said in the Sakho thread that it wouldn't surprise me if the Frenchman started a game in that role and became a first-team regular. He won't be attack-minded but that's probably not something we need from our full-backs at this moment in time, especially since we don't have a dominant defensive midfielder in the squad to sit and allow the full-backs to bomb on. He could be a bit like Ivanovic at Chelsea when he played as a right back for them.
