Gerrard should start in the middle if Torres doesn't start. I'd put Aquilani in the advanced position with Kuyt up front, those 2 linked well last time they played that formation.

If Torres starts though I'd go with the tried and true Gerrard/Torres partnership.

Can't afford to start him? We couldn't afford to buy him Simon, and now we have bought him we can't afford NOT to start him. He should be getting every opportunity he can in the hole to find out if there is any way we can use him. I wanted to focus on the game today but this whole fucking mess with Aquilani has steam coming out of my ears.
