Not got a ps5 yet. Got the 4 but still got the last GoW sitting there to play. Same as the witcher 3 in xbox. 

 

Fancy giving Ghosts of Tsumia another play through. Finishing up AC Valhalla at the moment  but I do everything so it's over 170hrs so far.

Doing the same with Odyssey at the moment takes fucking ages.

 

I've got Valhalla but never played it so might move on to that after I've finished Odyssey and played Ragnarok.

I love all 3 of the new games. Took me rwo attempts to get into Valhalla but its good. Odyssey the best of the 3 though. 

 

The next game is supposed to be more like the older AC games

Didn't take long for cheaters to get on to CoD. Jeez, I'm not sure what enjoyment you'd get out of cheating on the game. I'll be heading over to play GoW now instead.

Well if its cheating to take over the red mancs and put them on the verge of administarion and send them down to the championship in one season. Wage bill now sits at 34ml a week

Quick update on my petty shit boredom at work. Mancs relegated, failing ffp in championship. Started the 2022 season with a balance of 129ml credit, got that to 0 in January and after a round of good contract discussions with the u18 it's now -396ml.

There have been at least 4 GoWs and lots of GoWs.

 

GoW is PlayStation exclusive and GoW is Microsoft exclusive.

 

Edit: The previous GoW has now been released on PC but no GoW has been released on PlayStation.

It certainly is. Just got my second boss stem cell, so the difficulty has ramped up. Also bought the dlc which is even harder.

Persona 5 Royal- 9/10. I'm not a big fan of JRPGs and Anime is total wank, but this is surprisingly good (and currently free on PC GamePass). It's got the usual tropes- elaborate battle system, teenage protagonists, bizarre plot- but it looks gorgeous and very stylish, the characters and interactions are well done, there's a fuck ton of stuff to do besides the usual turn-based scraps and it's really addictive. Long as fuck too, I'm 30 hours in and have barely scratched the surface. Well worth a go if you have GamePass, but you'll have to persevere beyond the first few hours as it really takes its time setting the scene- once it does though, it's great.

I would argue that Souls games are really metroidvanias as they play with the same characteristics. Take on world c by levelling up in world a and defeating the mid level world b boss then enter world c to get the weapons to complete world b. Dark souls just rebranded metroidvanias.

 

if you like metroidvanias you’ll like S&S, Ori and the wisps, dead cells etc.
