If he was any good, like in "strengthen our team" - good, then he would never be a part of any deal. It's Real trying to fuck us over once more after their unconditional success with Nunez.

 

When we are selling Alonso we shoud do so with cash only.

30 goals in 60 games for Almeria tells you that he ain't no Nunez. He would probably be a much better back up for Torres. But he won't solve our left wing or centre mid which is where we need reinforcement the most, when Xabi leaves.

We could probably get Cambiasso and Silva with the money.

 

Or these two for a lot less. And just think of the additional money we'd save by not having to pay out win bonuses next season.

Jesus get a grip. He's up there because of everything he did for us. Just because our paths are parting, doesn't mean he didn't do them anymore.

 

And I know it's nitpicking but he didn't say he didn't want to play for us, he said he'd rather play back home now.

Voronin had 11 goals and 8 assists in 20 games for Hertha in Bundesliga, that's pretty impressive numbers aswell.
