  1. AGM 2012 Video - Spirit of Shankly Check out part 2 for discussion on Ayre, hardly in his pocket.
  2. 'SOS top brass in Arye's pocket' Behave yourself Al because you are making yourself sound daft. Name names, I want to know who was in his pocket, let's hear it? I also suggest you watch the videos of the AGM from last week where some of the 'top brass' and members make their opinions clear on Ayre. Is this all because Purslow has give you a sniff of attention, you all of a sudden start claiming he done no wrong, good luck with the interview (what's the reasons for it) I suggest you read the tale of Icarus once you are finished.
  3. i meant the forum i linked to rather than Wayne's LPT blog. The info and quotes from LPT, coupled with the graduates posting on skyscraper city two years ago with the drawnings linked to in the KF release just all seem a bit weird when put together. Why would Liverpool city council make a presentation to LFC using pictures and diagrams that an australian graduate posted on Skyscraper city two years ago?
  4. I really, really hope the OP isn't based on information from the Liverpool Preservation Trust which is quoted in the release. LPT is a one man band, not really a Trust as it isn't registered with the charity commission and is bascially just a platform for its one member/chairman/founder Wayne Colquhoun to criticise any plan for new developments in the city. I would hate to see the lads from KF being used by a third party to further his/his own vendetta against developments in this city. Hope the lads aren't basing all of this just on LPT info. If anyone wants to read more about LPT this is a decent read Liverpool Preservation Trust
  5. My last personal email to you set out the reasons why I will no longer get into a debate with you, your new found position calls for a little more discretion. I'm disappointed this is your first public action as a SC member and how negative it is, when the whole point of the SC is to bring the club and supporters closer together. For more examples of how receptive Mr Moran is to the views of others please see here: The LFC Crest - an Interactive History
  6. You should work for a tabloid the amount of times you are selective with portions of quotes. How many times can one guy be wrong in one, albeit very long winded and self serving post? TLW get used to these long winded rants, and seen as though my email has been quoted, I might aswell put the whole email transcript up and let people decide for themselves. Andrew I am not going to get into a discussion with you because I've been there before, I feel sorry for the people you now stand for as an unelected representative. But it's nice to see you still havve a lot of time on your hands to deal with their queries.
  7. Agree with that, which is a shame as the entertainment was quality last year. Looking forward to the new venue,
  8. "Without any format being agreed, they shook hands and went there seperate ways, knowing at least one miracle had taken place in the house of God - Alan Kayll had bought a round of five coffeess, two of them for Moores and Parry" Which part is the miracle though? That two were for Moores and Parry or that Al got a round. Or even that he spent that long in a Catholic house of God at all. The book could easily have been twice as long if it went into more detail about the fans fight, and also, the views in the book about purslow are mostly from "senior executives" at the club and in my opinionhe gets off too lightly.
  9. HKS were told, we have 240 million for a stadium can you design one, the design they come back with cost £500 million!! the club (parry and gillett at the time) then got in touch with the architect the club already have a relationship with think they are called AFL and invited them to tender for it (telling them their budget) and they came back with a design for £280 mill. So the argument stated about why Hicks was sotied into HKS, turns out he owed them work from failed plans in Brazil. Anyway I would like to think the owners would have a full look into redeveloping anfield, SOS have already had two architect companies look into a redevelopment and i am sure if we speak to the new owners it will be something that is raised. Oh and in todays news David Moyes has said the club would be "very interested" in a groundshare :lol:
  10. murdoch and his empire absolutely hate the New York Times, guess who is involved in owning NESV, yes thats right, the New York Times.
  11. Some great ideas and posts in this thread, but people need to ask themselves what "can" they do and how far would they go. The team coach stuff, or cars parked in strategic spots around the ground, you will get arrested, and may get a criminal record. Not that this should put people off but i'm just saying that it is all well and good putting ideas forward but would you be able to take part, would you be available on the day, this would need to be planned away from the public. Would you get on the pitch and get banned for life? Would you set fire to a car and get arrested for criminal damage? If the answert is yes and you would go as far as it takes to do whatever it takes then putting it on a public forum is not the best way to go about it. Any chance of a hidden forum or place were these things can be discussed out of the eyes of the watching world? with all the work KF do from this site there will be media and others browsing the forum, lets be smart about this. Hopefully we will get the result we want and it won't be needed.
  12. i'll put it around the rest of the committe now
