Just a few things of note we arnt in a relegation fight and if we wre then every team from 6th place down is in it with us that is my first point

 

My second is the signing of any player isnt as important as people on here and elsewhere on the net would have you believe if someone values Saurez or anyone else higher than we do and backs that up with hard cash then that is that we move on to the next target on our list paying more than a players value to us will have us in shit street long before missing out on a player ever will

 

If we lose at the weekend, Wolves will be just 2 points behind us.

The squad needs a major overhaul.

 

Long-term we need top quality players of the calibre of Suarez and Young, but in the short-term we need to bring in players that will help us climb the table and get us away from the relegation zone.

 

We certainly shouldn't be advertising our transfer targets. Very naive from Comolli, and I am extremely concerned if he has any say in who our next manager will be.

If FSG have as much money as they make out they should really get on with it. He's a young striker who could be with us for years, and one of the best. Madness. Around £20mil should not be a problem for someone of his quality. This will come back to bite us on the arse big time if it fails.

 

Ajax are about right to be wanting £25mil.

Yes he has given an interview to Canal Sport + and has named Young and Suarez as player targets. All this after Kenny Dalglish said earlier today that the club would not discuss individual players.

I'm in agreement with you here, think he's exactly the type of striker we need (any would help of course) and we're really going to regret it should we not get this deal done.

Not sure, i think its a tv interview. They have said they saw/heard this a couple of weeks ago. Turns out that this channel are just showing it now to try and pass it off as more interesting than it is. Lazy channel, sounds like SSN.

So, NESV are shit because they wont pay £20 million for a player who isnt worth that? Suarez isnt worth £25 million, theres no way we should be paying that for him. We are right to be negotiating on this. If we were to come in and pay £25 million for him then every club in the land would take us for mugs. Look at Citeh for an example. If you can get a player for less than its worth trying to bargain them down. Ajax deep down know Suarez want out.

1st I have heard of it. and considering some of the shite that has done the rounds in the last couple of months due to the presses desperation to print anything LFC related, it's hard to believe he could have said this in the past and it not be reported. would be surprising to be reported with quotes if it wasn't true though.
