Any purchases made next summer will be taken into account for FFP. Any signing made will be amortised i.e if someone buys a player for 24 million on a 4 year contract that means his value will be recorded in the books as 6 million per year. In the first three years there is scope only for a 8-9 million quid loss for the clubs. Anything above that and they are in trouble. Even though the rules are for the long term prosperity of the clubs, they will be in effect from the summer. They certainly have some immediate effect and even United hurried up and reduced some of their debts by clearing their PIK loans.

It will not be easy, even in the initial phase, for clubs to spend truck loads of money without the necessary revenue streams to support big purchases.

Well i hope so, because the money going around now is ridiculous.

I gotta read up on this cause if these things come into play this summer, how the fuck is Chelsea, Barca, Real Madrid and City gonna cope with their already beyond massive losses...

How loose or strict are the guidelines?

For example, not adhering to the FFP ruling will result only in a ban from European competition, not the Premier League.

But, can a club stockpile tons of talent, get away with it, but then register a modified team for European competition that falls within the FFP rules?

Hahaaaaaaa there he goes, the "arguement" has begun. Pfffffffffffffffttttttttttt

This will be my last post in your direction, especially as I'm replying to a post that at best, hints at some form of learning difficulties.

It's not fair to pick on the speshuls.

This thread has become a great advert for RAWK. In fact let's be honest, this thread is even a great advert for Koptalk. Anything but reading dozens of pages of a couple of bickering twats. Pathetic display from site members.

FFS, read back and tell me that I started this bollocks.

I'm here to chat footy, apologies if it has offended anyone, just got carried away with it.

Besides, as I said, it's more fun than waiting for the inevitable shake of the head from John Henry that seems imminant.

Reading the last few pages has been like having someone piss in my eyes. Someone who only ever drinks bleach and only eats beetroot. Stingy red piss, right in my eyes.

Disturbingly, that sounds like someone who has a point of reference for this type of thing.

Cripes!!!!!! (Someone mentioned the Dandy before - good times)
