Bruna loses the physical battle every time he plays, he has got no chance of making it, he wouldn't even get in the u18 side ahead of Kakaniklic if the side was picked on merit. I think Bruna has been foisted on Ablett and he HAS to play him. Given the choice I don't think he would.

 

Plessis has been better in recent weeks but has done nothing tonight at all. A decision needs to be made on him this summer if possible. I think San Jose looks better than him in holding midfield and he's supposed to be a centre back.

 

Simon should be holding the ball up up front but he's not. He's not even anywhere near as good as Lindfield, who was very good at holding the ball up and bringing others into play.

 

Feel sorry for Hansen, the pitch looks shite. I think him and Gulacsi both look decent keepers. Not sure what the fuss is all about with Bouzanis.

Compared to the dark days of Joe Corrigan farting his way through reserve matches during Ged's era, this set-up looks quite encouraging. Anything would, but I think Ablett's doing much better than I expected.

Yes, quite agree. I think that's his problem now - he gets caught in possession quite often because another player hasn't given him any decent option.
