I always wonder whose responsibility it is to check this stuff out. Advertising is who can spout the most bullshit and get away with it.

I complained to the advertising standards agency about a burger king advert.

 

The advert showed you a burger in the foreground with drinks and fries behind and said the price was just under 4 quid.

 

Great i thought went to burger king but it turns out that it is just the burger for drinks and fries you pay extra.

 

I complained saying the advert was misleading.

 

Now you only see the burger on the adverts.

They actually emailed me back saying they are sure the advert wasnt misleading and the advert stayed the same for about 2 years.

Bought an upright cordless one from Bosch to do all the mini-hoovering sessions that the dog creates. It has had me much happier than it should really
