Thats a superb call, he was brilliant in both the 1992 Series and Justice (*still my fave). I have purposely never looked him lest, he doesn't look like animated Batman.

 

The fact he wasn't in "The Batman" was a massive factor why I haven't really bothered watching it.

 

For the record, even though he's only made one film, Christain Bale has all the attributes to be a "proper" Batman

 

And whoever voted for George - shame on you!

Adam West...Adam West. 60's Batman is a classic. What other show has the Batmobile deploy a parachute out of the back of it so it can turn 180 degrees in the middle of Gotham City? Then Batman calls up his Bat-Parachute retrieval team to come and pick up the Parachute in a Van. With Bat-Parachute Retrieval team written on the side of it!

You'll enjoy it!

 

The first story is very much like the "Legends of the Dark Knight" from the animated series - with the different perceptions of Batman from the kids - which is so so, but the others are ace.

 

And did I mention Kevin Conroy?

 

Oh yes.

 

Also while we are kind of on subject, I'd like to refer to my first avatar when I joined here - Batman Beyond/Batman of the Future - another Kevin Conroy classic, though this time playing a much older Bruce, while a new younger Batman patrols the streets. Very very cool concept and well worth a look.
