Little Man Tate

Not sure if they have been mentioned on here before but Little Man Tate are an excellent band. Theyre from Sheffield so the obvious comparisons to the Arctic Monkeys are there, and they may well use their publicity to help their own needs. Despite that they really are good and I reccomend the tracks "This Girl Isnt my Girlfriend" "What? What You Got" and "Sexy In Latin".

 

Free downloads are available from the official site and theyre playing a few gigs this month too.

Just want to add Alexis Blue to the list of bands to watch out for. Although I guess a lot of you have heard of them, with them being from the Wirral.

Right, as you all blatantly ignored me first time round, I will repeat myself. These are frigging awesome. I went to see them on Saturday night and it was one of the best gigs I have ever been to. They are extremely good lyricists, with amazing tunes and a live energy that recordings don't do justice to. They are playing Sheffield again in October (already have my tickets) and I demand you people go see them if you get the chance soon.

 

These will be huge.
