First half xG was 1.52 to 0.1
Second half was 0.37 to 0.75

I think that counts all chances, even if in the same attack, so they got close to 1.0 for the attack where they hit the bar because of the 2 other chances in the same move

I agree that we will have to prioritise, but the cup runs definitely didn’t cost us the title in 21/22; we took more points than City over the last 15/16 games.

100%

VVD, Robertson, Tsimikas, Thiago, Endo, Bajcetic, Szoboszlai, Salah and Doak were missing yesterday and all are due back in February. If we keep the injuries to a normal level and there aren't sufficient games from then until May, we will have unhappy players on the fringes and won't have enough games to keep the squad game ready when called upon.

Klopp likes rhythm, but also the ability to rotate during and between games. We have a big enough squad to do that barring the plague.

Why film and release that kind of shit.

Especially the bit with Stan Laurel laughing.  It's not a good look for a club of Arsenal's stature to be mocked by a Cumbrian comedian from the 1930s.

Can't be legit, their changing rooms must be bigger than that. That must be an away from the year they had the Amazon TV show.

Got the likes of Holding, Chambers and Kolasinac there, it's just old.

I was chatting to someone today about this funnily enough. They've become a really strange team. They move the ball through the 3rds really slowly to almost ensure they keep their shape in case they lose the ball. Then as soon as anyone goes near them, they throw themselves to the ground in the hope of winning a set piece and they cry like you've never seen. There was one who went to ground at anfield the other week. Rolled around, played dead and then when he didn't get his free kick, got up and ran 40 yards to chase the ref, when seconds before he was supposedly injured. Their entire plan when in possesion just seems to be "how can we get a free kick"

It's like watching a Sean dyche team with better diving and play acting.

They have basically copied City. As you said, their play is really slow and structured so they can control games and try to minimize getting caught out but they don't have the attacking quality City have had.

It's like they don't even try to create. They just throw themselves down.
