Not sure why, but one performance that has always annoyed me more than it should, is the Asian fella at the end of the Inbetweeners episode, where they go to London.

I watched a film called Desperate Hours this week (Mickey Rourke & Anthony Hopkins) and there was an FBI agent in it acted by Lindsay Crouse. She was laughably bad.

 

Sophia Coppola in Godfather III is probably worth a shout.

 

There are plenty of other cunts (I'm looking at you Keanu Reeves) who stink the place out whenever they get near a film set but I would be here all night listing those.

Before Kate Mulgrew was cast in Voyager they had an actress called Geneveve Bujold, she was an ac-tor by all accounts but couldn't cope with the schedule so they fucked her off after two days. Her performance makes Rooney in a wine advert look like Lawrence Oliver.

There's been other threads on this.  And in them I pointed out that the worst, and most deeply offensive, acting performance is Juliette Lewis inconsistently playing an autistic woman in The Other Sister.

 

The performance is horrendous and only rivalled by the male lead in ... The Other Sister.

 

So, congratulations to a lad called Giovanni Ribisi for that.

He’s a talented actor, as well, which made it all the more striking.

Elizabeth Moss in the West Wing.

 

She’s phenomenal in Mad Men as Peggy, better still in The Handmaidens Tale, but in the West Wing, she’s young, gawky and wooden as Zoe.

 

That would be fine for a teenager, but when she’s on screen with Martin Sheen as Jed Bartlett she looks absolutely out of her depth and it stands out.
