Some which seemed to be on the BBC quite often, often with Terry-Thomas-

Those Magnificent Men in their Flying Machines

It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World

Various Carry On films, usually Khyber and Cleo

The Mouse That Roared

Monte Carlo or Bust!

The Great Race

Logan's Run (seeing tits and muff on a Saturday afternoon was a welcome surprise, maybe the censors were asleep that time)

Also, I remember a Jack Lemmon/ Billy Wilder series one Christmas. Some great films there, especially Irma la Douce and The Apartment.

We had Carry On Screaming! on video. It’s still my favourite.

My Billy Wilder top 5:

1. The Apartment

2. Some Like It Hot

3. Witness for the Prosecution

4. Double Indemnity

5. The Fortune Cookie

The first six on that list, definitely.

Fucking gutted now that I missed out on Logan's Run.
