Seeing as there was only 3 channels and it was before video players you just watched whatever was on when I as a kid.

 

It was mostly shite apart from Christmas, Easter and bank holidays when they had the more interesting stuff on such as The Great Escape or a Bond film.

Have to add Jaws to this. My nan it on video and I used to stay there every other weekend and just watch it constantly even though I'd be shitting myself and too scared to walk on the carpet, I wouldn't even let my feet dangle over the edge of the couch.
