Real Madrid (N) - Champions League Final, Sat 28th May 2022 (8:00pm)

We had enough chances to get ahead in the game, didn't take them and then I think playing every game this season took its toll, especially after Real scored. Players leggy, mentally exhausted, not really getting forward in support of attacks, not able to box to box attack and defend.

It's been a brilliant season with a disappointing finale.

I’m gutted, and the only thing I can take from tonight is that at least those constantly slagging off our players don’t get to enjoy winning it after doing that.

Thought we were unlucky tbh. Goalie in inspired form although our finishing could have been better. Caught out once for their goal. Fine margins really.

No threat whatsoever all night. Showed no urgency to get back in the game after they scored. Courtois gonna get loads of praise for catching everything in front of him while under no threat. Couid have played all night and we wouldn’t have scored.

Everton fans setting off fireworks by ours. You sad bastards.

Thought we were ok but not brilliant. Konate the best player for me. We just struggle to break down teams who sit deep. Our best chance was Mane in the first half, but Courtois was excellent.

A disappointing week, but we dust ourselves off, and use that disappointment to fuel the next campaign.

Come on you Reds.

Luxury Burnley. We were ok, nothing more but comfortably the better side. Their keeper had a worldie the massive fucking prick. We’ve probably played a few too many games and just look a bit flat.

I love them though, and the manager and I really can’t be arsed slagging them off. If you’re spitting feathers because you’ve lost a CL final then you’re spoilt, really.

I'd love to see a Premiership var official looking at their goal.

No fucking way that was onside

I wondered about the ball virtually skipping over Benzema's toe.
