He will have one good game against a team fighting relegation where we are already winning by a couple of goals. Loads of people will rave about him and then he will just disappear for a couple of months with an innocuous muscle strain.

 

Will come back from injury and take a while to bed back into the team even though he's been here for a couple of years. Once back he will look like a rabbit in the headlights then get injured again.

All this talk of Kieta offering nothing when we’ve an English midfielder not worth mentioning and Milner might as well put pom poms on.

 

Fabinho is pretty much the only midfielder we can rely on.  Henderson has fitness issues and it remains to be seen if Thiago can fit in this side at all.  Two young bucks look good but that’s what they’re, young.  The rest aren’t up to it at all.

A Cruyff turn. Was right in front of me, i can’t say the pass that followed was great though. I don’t hate Keita, but he’s not near Sturridge. Peak Sturridge was the best in the league (when fit).

I don’t hate him either, I just see him for what he is. It’s strange that he seemingly has this cult following, he’s done nothing to  warrant it.

He wasn't even the best in our 2 strikers at the time, not  patch on the mad Uruguayan.

If my memory serves me right, Suarez had a storming start to the season and then hit a wall, and Sturridge picked up where he left off. At one point in that season Sturridge was the best in the league IMO.

Other way round. Suarez missed the first 5 games and Sturridge started with a bang in his absence, before Luis began handing out an even bigger smack down to the rest of the league.
