The final set of the Djokovic-Nadal match was longer than the women's final. How can the women players demand pay parity when too many of their matches can be fitted into an ad break? Get them playing shorter sets (first to 5, or if it's 4-4, then first to 6, with 5-5 resulting in a tie-break) and best of five sets. You've get the same dynamic you find in the men's game, where one player can be 2 sets up and the third set will either end the contest or drag the opponent back into the match.
