It is amazing what happens when you play a forward pass and use a bit of pace. Result goal in the first 5 minutes of the start of the second half. Milner's penalty was poor and he was blowing a bit before he took it. Did not look comfortable to me. Nice strike by Can for the second and Sturridge made the score look like it should have been at the end of the first half.

Not defensively he hasn't. saving grace is that he does well going forward and creates chances. If we have to defend against better attacking teams he is found wanting quite a few times and can't even time a header. 

The fact he got a standing ovation early in the 2nd half when he made a routine tackle tells the story.

Very good second half, Salah's some fucking player. The fucking about with the penalty taker is big factor why we keep missing reminiscent of 11-12 season. Lovely goal by Can, rare you see that shooting drill they do before the match actually ever happen in a match. Delighted to Sturridge bag too.

Yep, but Sevilla are capable of beating us if we have our usual scoring problems. Spartak will beat Maribor which if it did happen we'd be level on 8 points each with us playing them in the last group match, if that was to end 1-1 then GD would come into play. we should be capable of getting a point or a victory in Sevilla though, they aren't that good this season. we should be pissing a home game against Spartak too, but we are capable of struggling.

Yep. He has been better than he normally is but most of that has been in an attacking sense. When we have to defend, a lot of our problems come from down his side as he is either mistiming headers/rash challenges or awol.
