It's the right ground to do it on and the wicket is very batsmen friendly. Pakistan more or less got a par score and we do chase well. Pakistan have also gone into this game with only 4 front-line bowlers.

I knew Roy would go cheaply the fucking moron. Put them in on a belter, bowl some short shite and field like drains. Too fucking cocky for my liking, put them in and thought they would roll over, never going to happen after their last game.

We have to start bowling much better and thinking more as a batting unit to win the WC.

That's a great effort by Pakistan after their debacle against the Windies. Pretty poor from England in the field today. They chased well but lost booth Root and Butler at the wrong time, one of them had to carry their bat. No more slip ups now, they need to buckle down and forget about the hype. Ali is way out of nick with the bat. He bowled well though and is our front line spinner. I'd definitely move him down the order though.

The fielding was probably a one-off but the bowling needs work. Proof that you cannot chase big scores all the time. Lesson hopefully learned.
