That doesn't make sense. You shouldn't really need the best footballers in the world to beat hull.

Of course it does. There is a reason why Barca are far more likely to beat Osasuna than say, Sociedad despite both teams having better players than Osasuna, and it's not because Luis Enrique is a great manager.

Still fuming about this, it hasn't eased at all with the passing days.

Hope to fuck the players are the same, though I'm not holding my breath on that one.

They don't give a toss - too meek, too accustomed to losing....

Leicester are shite at the mo but the anger displayed by Schmeichel for example after letting in goals and in the interviews was good to see and if I was a Leicester fan would encourage me.......compare that to Mignolet who just stands around looking sheepish after letting in soft goals and when was the last time you saw any of our players show anger in an interview - just crap like "we'll learn" "We will bounce back" etc..meaningless soundbites.

Serial losers of course will always behave the same way.

Hard to argue with what everyone is saying. We have collapsed, quite spectacularly, and afer daring to dream of a title challenge at the turn of the year, we've bottled it. Any season will have some dodgy results, it's a fact of life in a competitive Premier League, but what we've served up in 2017 is simply not good enough.

The big question is what comes next?

The mood around the fan base seems to be one of autopsy. We are tempted to examine this corpse of a season and point out where it all went wrong - lack of mental toughness, not enough players, not enough players who will stick their foot in, tight owners, frugal manager, injuries, loss of form, ACON, even Klopp must come under some scrutiny (though this must be measured, as while he's not without fault, he is a top manager and I'm glad we have him).

So again, what do we do?

My own view is we've got to shake off the introspection and fight. The last six weeks have been terrible, but our form up until the New Year was so good that we are still right in the mix to fight for top four. We must regroup and fight. The season is a marathon and this part of the race has been the part where we fell off the pace. To keep the marathon analogy going, we have 10 miles left. We are aching but we are not finished. It's time to regroup and give it everything we've got.

Top four is not gone.
