True. As with the climate and river pollution maybe reality's hit home for a few.

I despise shit like this. Sorry, we just can’t have poor people infecting our school…

Holderness Academy has defended placing a child in isolation for wearing the supermarket version, insisting parents were made aware of the policy in June.

My mum won a scholarship to Blackburn House. My nan and grandad couldn’t afford the official school straw boater, but she was allowed to wear a close match, until it came to the official school photo, when she was excluded because it wasn’t the correct head wear. Always a way to make you feel shit about being poor.

You'll love this fella. The up and coming, the darling of Davos. He's saying what a lot of billionaires think out loud.

He's got an apt name the gurning cunt.

How did this self made man start his business? Obviously by working harder than everyone and being grateful to his boss ?

Sort of, he started his business with a loan from his boss, who he had a good relationship with, maybe because his boss was his grandfather.

Don't be lazy, just get a loan off your grandfather and start a business. Cunt

A few years ago, Timbo revealed that he first bought a St Kilda apartment for “180k” and then had “my boss at the time approach me to renovate it while he fronted the money

He fronted the money. The boss did. Golly it must be nice to have an employer who doesn’t think you’re a lazy arsehole, but rather reaches into their pocket to help out a young fella.

Timbo went on to say that he later “took out a $150,000 loan using the $34,000 from his grandfather

Childish but I like this last paragraph;

The next time Timbo chunters on about any aspect of economic policy, or about the current predicament of employer-employee relationships, he should be forced to staple to his forehead how he really “made it”. Lord knows there’s enough room.

Rumours Rachel Reeves has approached him with the offer to become her chief economics advisor in government.

This is getting worse since all schools were forced to become academies run by trusts.

At my youngest daughters school now the kids have to have a rucksack with the school name and emblem on it. They get the first one free when they start in year 7, but every time it wears out or they lose it, it's £25 to replace it! Just what you need when you haven't a pot to piss in.

A few years back they also stopped the free school buses for kids like mine who live miles away from the school as a lot of pupils do. This now means extra costs for bus fairs for a lot of families, and horrendous traffic around the school for kids lucky enough to get a lift. This has the effect also of the buses to Prescot being overcrowded and a lot of kids having to wait for the next one.

This has led to a lot of kids being late for school on a regular basis. The schools answer to this? Threaten the parents with fines. And if you get fined both parents get a fine each!

Arseholes the lot of them.

Fuck paying 25 quid for a rucksack what are the school going to do send the plod round if they’ve got a cheaper one in town from Sports Direct or wherever?

The top brass at these chain schools pay themselves an absolute fortune and micro manage the fuck out of the teaching staff and barely acknowledge the support staff.

If they don't have the correct uniform including the rucksack they will be excluded! Permanently if they repeatedly break the uniform rules. Fucking pathetic isn't it?

I note all these trusts have about 8 to 10 or so academies and they pool the budgets for all schools. The best performing 2-3 get massive chunks of the budget, the rest get left to rot!

Sounds like you need to put on your Echo compo face and drag the school’s name publicly a bit,  they normally change tack. It’s a racket if you can’t choose your own accessories or ASDA equivalents for uniform.

In other news they’re proposing to cut special education budget.

Can't do the Echo compo face mate, I've got resting ugly bastard face, that's my only option.

The cuts to SEND budgets are sickening. 2 of my kids have been diagnosed with autism, and the youngest is still in school. The idea the budgets to help her and kids lime her are being cut is horrifying.

I know you’ve mentioned about your kids, it must be tough. Friend of mine’s lad has autism and she really had to fight to get him help, coached him through exams but he’s got through “school”

and is about to start a uni course.

Crap about the buses too, they still put them on round mine but that’s cos they shut and demolished a few old schools to build houses so kids go miles from their own area.

Same here - they ran the buses for 4 years, then withdrew them as they didn't want to pay for them any longer.

My lad finished school, got 1 decent GCSE I think (fucker tells me nothing) but has spent the past 2 years mostly in the house. He refuses to engage with anyone who may be able to help him as he is convinced nothing will work for him!
