Probably younger for those. We developed Sterling (kind of) out of the academy and sold him within 3 seasons, Torres lasted a few months. They don't like ability out on the pitch, they want it cashed up and invested back into potential, 19-24

Our only hope now is that Klopp can do what he did at Dortmund and buy players cheaply who turn out to be top class and forge a squad with a mentality like the one at Dortmund...we aren't gonna get the best so we have to hope we can find gems.

 

Problem he has is that he is now buying against teams in a league where all those other clubs have plenty of money to spend as well looking to do the same as us and probably 4/5 teams who will always be picked by top players over us.
