So outside of the Chelsea-ManU game, there's no real fixtures.  Spurs, Everton, Arsenal, and City should all walk to victory.

We should batter Villa as they're shit...

But do we root for a draw in the Manc/Chelsea game? I don't see us finishing above Chelsea so do we just root for Chelsea and ideally go 8 clear of the mancs?

God forbid we get some help from a midtable club against Everton Spurs or Arsenal....

would go Kelly right back Johnson left back but other than that agree, Coutinho has been decent but nowhere near what he is capable off and Sterling/Henderson and Sturridge should all play so maybe getting dropped will give him a boot up the arse to hit his best form

Guest Numero Veinticinco

There are two main things we've got to watch with Villa. Firstly, we've got to watch the long-ball to Benteke. If Sakho's fit enough, he must start. Simple as that. The second thing is counter attacks through the midfield, where we're slow. We'll have loads of possession and loads of attacking play and possession in their third. That's just the way they play. With Sturridge and Suarez, that could hurt them pretty bad.

These match threads are pretty slow when we are doing well and expected to win. When there is some doubt it's full of panicking fanny flappers saying how much they hate one of our defenders and praying we don't get humiliated like Japanese teen in a business suite.

None of our defenders are perfect but they do all have strengths, I wish people would get off their backs sometimes. The way we play is likely to concede occasionally, we are no longer trying to nick a 1-0 with superior organisation and control.

Match preview on bbc says "The home side has not won any of the last five fixtures between these clubs."

Thought we beat em at the start of the season myself but there you go, can't argue with a pro journalist.

It also reckons this will be John Henry's first game since appointing Rodgers. Surprising that.

And no team has conceded fewer at home this year.

The rest of it was shite.

I think they meant the side playing at home have not the last five games meaning no home wins not that no teams have won the last five fixtures.

I think we are better at playing teams that sit back rather then against teams that press us, sas start and we play like we can we should win comfortably.
