Is he Mumrah?

Does he want to borrow Stouffer's drinking gloves?

*shakes head* Karl.

Jacob Marley. The same face: the very same. Marley in his pigtail,

usual waistcoat and Everton away socks. The chain he drew was clasped about

his middle. It was long, and wound about him like a tail.

World book day again Wednesday and I'm locked in a dispute with the woman I work with who think it's weirdthat I'm making a costume for my 2 & 1/2 year old because she's buying her little angel an Incredible Hulk costume for it and it costs under a tenner.

I just feel like there's more value and memories to be created by me making a "Funnybones" big Skeleton costume out of bin bags, white insulation tape and cardboard than there is by going to Asda and buying one.  My ma used to make my costumes from scratch and there were some bloody standout ones, the Hunchback of Notre dame stands out.  I always look back fondly on them and recognize the effort.

Any other dads to be frantically crafting the next few nights?

That one must have taken some effort.

You couldn't be more right Paulie.

I was gutted that my little girl changes her mind from wanting to be stick man to being sophie from the BFG.

I was looking forward to us making a stick man costume with crepe paper and big roll tubes, but instead she went off this morning with her nightie and a pair of specs.

It's what she wanted though so gotta go with it.
