King Kenny Dalglish will return to Anfield for the first time since his exit as our manager. He will be in the director’s box with his wife to show his support to the families of Hillsborough.

It will be marked by the opposing captains releasing 96 red balloons shortly before kick-off.

There will also be mosaics on three sides of the stadium. The words ‘The Truth’ will be displayed on the Kop, ‘Justice’ in the Centenary Stand and ‘96’ on the Anfield Road end.

Representatives of the Hillsborough Family Support Group, Hillsborough Justice Campaign and Hope for Hillsborough will be guests of honour at the game.

Welcome Back Kenny.

It will be nice to see him back. I hope in time he will have an official role at the club again.

It's where he belongs.

I just hope this club (the board, not the supporters) actually show him some respect in the future. In that Liverpool show on Fox, Henry and Werner claimed that he had always agreed to step aside when they found a suitable young, talented manager to take over the club. Despite being on a 3-year contract. And despite the owners taking a month to find Rodgers after fumbling around inviting Martinez and Villas-Boas for interviews. Unfortunately I suspect Kenny, like Rafa, won't be allowed to return to the club in any real capacity as long as these Yanks and Ayre are still around.
