I've stopped worrying about whether United will beat our record. It was inevitable that one day our record would beaten. I got that feeling after they won the treble.

 

There is only reason why this club never increased our league wins, we stood still and became extremely complacent.

 

Records are there to be broken, we just have to beat their records.

 

Deep down I have respect fir Fergie and what he had achieved. The same respect I have for Shanks and Paisley. The difference being that I love Bill and Bob. I hate Fergie with a passion, but he took Shankly's methods and built his own dynasty with his own twist.
