  1. proper song right there. hahaha
  2. I am having a hard time seeing how we can tell a lad who is setting the EPL on fire to fuck off if he won't take 30k a week. "good riddance" and "well find a better one" is a joke. We have been saying that for 5+ years now. He is truly the only player to come out of the academy that i can see him being a week- n and out player (well jonjo 2 years from now). We spent piss on henderson, downing, cole, etc.. atleast this young man has talent. Lets actually invest in our future.. I keep reading this united is trying to steal him from under us.. how GUTTED would everyone feel if that happen. its been how many decades since there has been a transfer between us and those cunts.. ferguson almost shit a brick when we tried to get gabriel henize and my faith in FSG would be completely squashed if they allowed that to happen with sterling.
  3. its easy to say Rafa is the answer, but I feel people forget how we lost Xabi Alonso.. It was Rafa's ridiculous chase of Gareth Barry.. He spent foolishly too many times, now im not saying Martinez is the answer.. but Rafa didnt have to deal with a wealthly Man City and Spurs were on the bounce as Rafa was leaving.. yes we have played like shit for 2 years now but were not getting Pep, Mourinho, etc.. idk where im going with this but booing the new manager (whoever it is) on day one is not what it means to support Liverpool. henced the motto YNWA
  4. Whoever thinks jordan henderson is our future is a damn fool. Granted i had major doubts about lucas, but we didnt force him into every damn game and he got to grow around xabi alonso and javier mascherano.. id be suprised if his current value exceeds 5 mil.
  5. i was just wondering how we were looking, thanks Code. It is the best way to look at things. Hopefully we just bring in 1 or 2 quality players and of course stevie coming back
  6. always a good listen. hoped there would be one before the next game... keep up the good work
  7. i've been listening to this podcat back when it was on thisisanfield.com. I think Numbers is great. All 3 of your personalities work together. Al is kind of all over the place with his goofy predictions, where Dave is more balanced. Numbers doesn't seem to interject too much. He puts in his opinion of course, but I listen to these when I run and it makes a 30 min run go by that much faster. Thanks for all your hard work! I'm glad we are getting these more then every 3 months now!
  8. haha that deserves to be repped. I'm glad we have Enrique. I did get to catch him a handful of times last season and I was impressed. Just get that CB and we can close this window down. Still if we can sell Poulson, Cole and a few young lads on loan I would be happy
  9. Liverpool and Newcastle agree £8m deal for Jose Enrique - Goal.com Liverpool and Newcastle agree £8m deal for Jose Enrique Clubs tying up terms today on an initial £6m fee plus a further £2m in performance-related add-ons and hope to have the Spaniard in place by the end of the week Aug 3, 2011 11:52:00 AM Tweet 78 Comments More On : Liverpool, Newcastle , José Enrique EXCLUSIVE By Greg Stobart Liverpool have agreed an £8 (€9.2) million deal to sign full-back Jose Enrique from Newcastle United and hope to wrap up the move by the end of the week. Executives from both clubs are tying up details today on a move that will see Newcastle receive an initial £6m (€6.7m) with an agreement for a further £2m (€2.3m) to be paid in add-ons depending on performance-related targets. Once a deal is formally struck, Enrique will be given permission to discuss personal terms with Liverpool and undergo a medical on Merseyside. The 25-year-old has indicated his desire to move to Anfield. Reds manager Kenny Dalglish and director of football Damien Comolli hope to have Enrique in place by the end of the week as they prepare for their Premier League opener against Sunderland on August 13. Enrique has many admirers on Merseyside and has long been pencilled in as the leading candidate to fill the club's problem left-back position. His arrival will take their summer spending over the £50m (€57.2m) mark as he joins new recruits Jordan Henderson, Charlie Adam and Stewart Downing. The Spaniard's contract at Newcastle expires next summer and last week he was fined two weeks' wages for Twitter rant directed towards owner Mike Ashley. His departure will add to the discontent among Newcastle fans following the announcement on Monday that midfielder Joey Barton would be allowed to leave the club on a free transfer. With Enrique desperate to leave, Ashley decided to cash in now rather than risk losing one of the team's star performers on a free transfer next season and having another bad influence in the dressing room. Newcastle manager Alan Pardew has been resigned to Enrique's departure all summer and failed in a deal to sign Neil Taylor from Swansea as a potential replacement. With youngster Shane Ferguson set to be the only recognised left-back remaining at the club, Pardew has been linked with moves for Manchester City's Wayne Bridge and Aston Villa full-back Stephen Warnock.
  10. even w. 3 fulls squads jovanovic makes the bench.. lol
  11. i guess no juan mata... im somewhat dissapointed w. this. if we actually find out what the fee is and its anywhere near what mata would have cost it will be completely disapointing.
  12. well if you want to look at it like that then enrique would be the better choice. Clichy is on a decline for me, whereas Enrique came into his own. Stars shine brighter when they are around dull rocks (the lot of newcastle), but I really didnt see anything impressive w. Clichy this year.
  13. that is great thank you so much!
  14. I just can't find them in a large enough size. I'm willing to pay for the print, but not $200+ let me know if you guys can come up with anything because I am stumped. I might be able to stretch the first pic, but I don't want to loose the quality in the process *sigh*
  15. Im trying to find some great pictures I can have printed out and framed, only place I can find is Getty and those cunts want $230 a picture. I deff want a large picture of the parade after Liverpool won in 05' and one of the fans cheering from the stand w. their scarves here are some ideas I like this pic, but its too small for what I am trying to do I want the image to be 1 ft by 18 inch or so give or take. Any links would be appreciated!
  16. Red Sox Ownership Serves Free Coffee, Hot Chocolate to Fans Waiting Through Rain Delay - Boston Red Sox - NESN.com Red Sox Ownership Serves Free Coffee, Hot Chocolate to Fans Waiting Through Rain Delay by Mike Cole on Thu, May 5, 2011 at 12:14AM 8 If you had tickets to Wednesday night's Red Sox-Angels game at Fenway Park, you had to have been excited. Josh Beckett was slated to return to the mound to face Ervin Santana, with Boston hosting an Angels team it has dominated this year. Once you got there, however, things took a turn for the worse, courtesy of Mother Nature. A few hundred fans were crazy enough to sit through a two-hour rain delay, sticking around until the action started back up at 11:05 p.m. Those fans were then treated to free coffee and hot chocolate, served by none other than John Henry, Linda Pizzuti Henry, Tom Werner and Larry Lucchino.
  17. just bought it. They give you a nice little gift bag as well. black scarf, beanie and ball bag.
  18. "The new Liverpool FC Away Kit, the kit worn by the players on their domestic travels during the 2011/12 season, will feature a Solid Grey/Silver/Red colour way and we are confident it will become an instant fans favourite." This is straight from the website when your designing your away kit
  19. haha you are a knob. please give me some example of him being dirty. as in dirty tackling, diving?? and if you think its so far off i would start reading more into his future, he will be in england and it will be for a competitive team.
  20. you know this because you follow honda? if all you have to go on his what you have seen in the WC, then that should be enough, I'm half Japanese and follow alot of the national team. Honda is a fantastic skill player with a great natural left foot. He could play as a central attacking midfielder or if were short on strikers up top either linking or as solo.
  21. i guess my question (and since i've only come into the watchin Liverpool in the last 5 years) is how are all these guys who are over 21 allowed to play in an under 21 tournament?
