Hold the phone here - the list of fixtures in the first post is WRONG

Spurs are listed as having 8 left to play - they have 9 remaining

Man City are listed as having 10 - they have 11

Liverpool are listed as having 9 - CORRECT

Villa are listed as having 9 - they have 11

Birmingham are listed as having 9 - CORRECT

Everton are listed as having 8 - they have 9

So any calculations based on those are null and void.

Based on my earlier prediction and the clubs above winning each of the fixtures I have missed (without seeing what those fixtures are), the final table as predicted by me would see it:

4th Villa 70 pts

5th Liverpool 67 pts

6th Spurs 66 pts

7th City 65 pts (City beat Everton, changed due to Everton lying down if it's a bad result for us)

8th Everton 61 pts

9th Birmingham 56 pts

The missing fixtures:

Spurs:

Man City v Spurs

Man City:

Man City v Spurs

Villa:

Hull City v Aston Villa

Aston Villa v Everton

Everton:

Aston Villa V Everton

From the fixtures above and all the other remaining fixtures, Villa are our biggest danger for fourth apart from ourselves ie. if we don't sort our shit out.

Man City, best of a bad bunch. We're off form, Spurs and Villa are shithouses, the Shite have left themselves too much to do. Put it this way, I'd be shocked if City botched it at this point.

Look at City's fixtures though, almost everyone they play has something to play for and there's loads of pressure on them because of the money spent. I think they'll bottle it more so than Villa.

Sunday, 14 March 2010

Sunderland v Man City, 16:00 - not safe from relegation

Sunday, 21 March 2010

Fulham v Man City, 15:00 - difficult away match

Wednesday, 24 March 2010

Man City v Everton, 19:45 - win- Everton don't do Liverpool favours

Monday, 29 March 2010

Man City v Wigan, 20:00 win, Wigan threatened and utter shite

Saturday, 3 April 2010

Burnley v Man City, 17:30 Burnley will be well up for it but City will have too much

Sunday, 11 April 2010

Man City v Birmingham, 16:00 Birmingham in the form of their lives

Saturday, 17 April 2010

Man City v Man Utd, 12:45 United win, they always do when they really need it

Saturday, 24 April 2010

Arsenal v Man City, 17:30 Arsenal win, City not in their league

Saturday, 1 May 2010

Man City v Aston Villa, 15:00 draw, neither team will want to lose

Sunday, 9 May 2010

West Ham v Man City, 15:00 West Ham may not be safe and Upton Park is not the place you want to be if the stakes are that high

TBA

Man City v Spurs draw, neither team will want to lose

Hmmm, that is a tasty fixture list, I think they'll beat United though and Spurs will shit against them. To be honest, I'd prefer the shite to get fourth as I know they'd fuck it up, if City get in there we'll struggle to reclaim it. I just don't think Spurs will do it, I mean they literally shit themselves last time they came close.

City 11 more points

My predictions and possibly over-optimistic, particularly in our case as we really need to get our shit together and quickly if we are to achieve the results I've posted. The final table if my predictions were correct:

Liverpool 67 pts

Villa 64 pts

Spurs 63 pts

City 60 pts

Everton 60 pts

Birmingham 56 pts

Well that's the first one correct, let's hope the other results go the same way.

You should post the fixtures round by round, think it would be easier to follow the battle that way.

The poll closes on Wednesday as otherwise you get people adding their names to it after the outcome, I'll keep bumping the thread after each round of matches though. I still reckon it will come down to us and Villa if we can get our shit together starting tomorrow, it'll be very close though.

I started such a thread on RAWK five years ago, it came back and bit me in the arse so I`m not sure I would do it.

The reason we shouldn`t worry at all about finishing 4th.

Spurs or City. I'm going for City because they've got a greater margin for error. If they do it, they'll be worth a punt on for the title next season as CL qualification will open the doors to all sorts of big name signings, plus they'll bring in Mourinho too.

Mourinho is nailed on to go there anyway, for me.
