i had been to many matches at anfield prior to that one, but it was my first against the mancs - a good one to pick...

my hair was tied back in a bunch on top of my head...at the end of 90 minutes it was situated somewhere above my left ear!

 

i remember the utter heartbreak when their 3rd went in...wasn't quite prepared for what was to follow...

What a night-seem to remember the Manc's first 3 shots were goals when we were the better team- didn't Cantona miss a sitter at the Kop which would have put them 4-2 up?

I remember Brucie made a brilliant save at the Kop end. In his match-fixing trial later that year, it was alleged that he 'accidentally' saved it!

I remember the Liverool team tearing into them once they realised they could do it. Special mention to Nigel Clough.

that was a quality game, two great things happened that night

 

1st, coming back in the way that we did, the team spirit and the noise in the kop was deafening.

 

2nd, my mate lee got pissed on by some guy who was fuckin huge, we were seventeen at the time and we wasn't going to stop him, or argue.
