I predict Unrighteous coming on here and bigging up every Russian/Ukranian/etc. player on the pitch tonight! ;)

Bollocks... CSKA's home grown talent ends with the 'twins' and Shakhtar only has Chygrynskyi that I would want to sign(if Agger leaves).

edit: Eh... Kiev played tonight not S.D.

And we have a new plastic flag waving brigade. Loved the close up just after Villa scored, when one fan was waving his and the cheap piece of shit fell apart. Other teams really have no concept of the whole ethos behind european flags or flag days, do they?

Is a non big-4 Parochialship side struggling in Europe against a team with decent techinque?

Do bears shit in the woods?

Added points for a British manager demanding "passion" rather than the ability to control a ball

Perhaps it is Collina's fault

What's all this paranoid bollocks?

May I remind you who you support and what our footballing philosophy was before foreign managers ruined it?

You're deluded if you think we play anything resembling good possession football.

After being taken apart in Europe (was it Ajax??)our philosophy from a Boot Room meeting was to change the English game & keep the ball.

Practically that meant moving players "backwards" to keep the technique & getting rid of the "stopper centre half"

So our 1st European dominant side had a striker in midfield, midfielders through-out the defence & no Larry Lloyd (who did tbf win the European Cup later)

Only briefly in our history were we ever an "attractive" side & we aren't now.

But we are not a "British side" & haven't been for 30 years which is why we own an original Big Ears

How long have you been watching football, lad?

For all your data driven modern 'logic', you have no real insight into the game or our club.

Did we not change how we played in the 1970's after a big European defeat & place specific emphasis on possession football?

Thommo got brought in because he could play compared to most Englsih centre halfs.
