Here’s Hicks’ ”Own words” when it comes to his interests/investments in sports. If you fast forward to about 10 minutes you can hear him say some interesting stuff. The interview is apparently from last summer.

“People will were worried that I will take money away from the Rangers to go to Liverpool; it’s just the reverse. Liverpool is gonna throw off lots of extra money that if I chose to I could use on the Rangers or the Stars”

He actually says a few good things too in that interview though, but the final judgement his on his actions and he’s failing miserably.

Sorry if this has been posted before, but it’s the first time I’ve heard this interview nad I couldn’t find any threads on it.

Isn't what he's said just the reality of investments?

The better the investment you make the more money you get and the more money you have to use.

Take a million and one investors who've started off with one company and used the success of that to fund another investment.

What he said isn't shocking, the way he's phrased it leaves alot to be desired.

Its the idea that we are going to be part of the Hicks sport franchise that is a worry.

Dallas are struggling lets sell Torres and by Mcbatter.

Sorry, don't know if I've done the linking properly. But, anyway: Look at the interview from 10:25:

This is getting more and more depressing.
