The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford. Exceptional acting and cinematography.

 

Film of the year by a country mile.

 

Most overrated? Superbad. Didn't quite see the comedy in a film about children wanting to get drunk and rape each other.

i thought american Gangster was pretty good

 

Bourne ultimatium was mediocre at best for me, it was good, but i thought some of the camera work was shoddy, just my opinion, not shite, mediocre probably a bit harsh, but i thought it could have been better

 

Knocked Up was fucking hilarious, thats defo in there

 

transformers was also very good

Bourne Ultimatum for me. I was so looking forward to it, and normally when that happens you're disappointed. But it lived up to and exceeded my expectations.

They are incorrect. I guess they just wanted a skinhead movie, or something with a grander scale maybe.

 

This is England is low key and intimate, and all the better for it imo. The cast are exceptional. It's also done in a very gentle way that brings you into the issues without alienating you from the charactors. Very very good imo.

I will have to watch it soon, but I dont expect it to be much good. I'll post what I think of it. Hopefully I'm pleasantly surprised!

If you don't like Shane Meadows movies you probably won't like it. It's social realism at it's best. I just stared at the blank screen for minutes after it had finished just taking it all in.
