The McCanns...

They refused to take part and their reasoning is weak as fuck.  Saying there’s a current investigation and that it might hamper that.  I’m not having it.  Netflix have got a very high viewership which could have put the case in the spotlight again.  They could have also put to bed all the conspiracy theories by answering questions and being open.  It’s years later and people would understand them misspeaking or not necessarily appearing completely genuine.  Flat out refusing to give their side with some public scrutiny just stinks.  They haven’t got answers for the difficult questions that would shine a light on them.

Or no matter what they say there are ghoulish cunts who’d accuse them of killing their kid.

Columbo would have sorted this, he’d have badgered that Gerry something crazy. Probably started with some stuff about mrs Columbo worrying about his heart and grinding him down until he caved.

Trouble he might have had is getting through the PR people, legal experts and lawyers. Then them buggering off out of the country.

There’s is been a load of tosh written about them, hopefully this clears up some of that. I can’t shake what I believe but that’s not evidence just gut feeling.

Always felt something stank in all this.

Saw this yesterday, in the Mirror

Dianne Webster - mother of Fiona Payne and grandmother of Lily and Scarlet

She told British police that she suspected the twins - Sean and Amelie McCann - had been drugged, as they were still asleep in their cot after Kate raised the alarm.

Speaking in a police interview in 2008, Dianne said Gerry was "absolutely distraught" when everyone arrived in the McCann's apartment.

"I've never heard a man make the noises he made, and Kate, Kate was just...you just can't put into words how they were," she said in transcripts of the interview.

"I remember I went through into the room where...Madeleine was sleeping and err and she said 'she’s been taken' because she said that the shutters and that had been open, the window open.

"The twins were still asleep in the cot and I, with all the noise going on I don’t know how they slept through it which makes me think there was, they must have been drugged with something."

Dianne said Madeleine's bed cover was "neatly turned back", adding that the position of her bed meant looking around the door of the bedroom to see it.

Dianne returned to her apartment to look after her grandchildren and said she recalled seeing Kate "screaming, banging, hitting things " and shouting "we've let her down".

The twins were later brought up to Dianne's apartment to be looked after - and once again, the grandmother said she was surprised that they were still fast asleep.

"They were taken from their cots when they were brought up to our apartment and they would have to come out into the cold and I would have...expected some sort of awakening," she told police.

Dianne added that she'd never seen the McCanns give their children any medication, and speculated that all three of the kids could have been drugged by the abductor.

Her feeling, she continued, was that the man carrying the child outside the hotel complex - known as the Tanner Sighting - was of a man carrying a drugged and limp Madeleine away.

Watched the first 2 episodes. The impression you get from the first one is that it was almost an accepted practice to leave children unattended.

I can't get my head around that, a child waking up alone in strange surroundings would be terrified. Any parent doing that should have their kids taken from them ( by the authorities).

That’s what I can’t understand me and my friends discussed this at the time, not one of us had ever left our children alone.

Children don’t respond to noise the same way adults do.  They even sleep through fire alarms - all the kids in the Philpot fire slept through the alarm.

They shouldnt have left the kids, but they had fuck all else to do with it.  If you think they deserve to be punished again after losing their kid you are fucking weird.

As as for the reaction, she’s been told she’s guilty because she was hysterical and told she was guilty because she was cold.  Poor cow can’t win, all because she didn’t react in the same way people perceive they’d have reacted.

SorryRico, I’ve spent a week in confined spaces with some very nic people of your persuasion, who I cannot really get into a blood and th7nder with.

So you are my metaphorical punch bag as the forum tory.

it met tone down a bit when we get back to Melbourne, but if over the next month .org so I have a bit more vitriol for your good self, understand it is only to help ease the passage of a couple of pensioners from the Wirral whilst they stay with us.

should you have a month with some good socialist folk, feel free to return the same.
