never heard that one before. absolutely classic Dunphy.

 

i actually saw an Apres Match live show in Vicar street, it was actually during the France vs brazil game of the 2006 world cup. 

 

Obviously the match was great, watching Zidane in his absolute pomp. but the Apres show was also brilliant. 

 

it was basically the apres match guys sitting on stage while the game and punditry was on the big screen, there wasnt any lights on the apres match guys, so as the actual RTE panel would be talking on the big screen, in real time, the apres match lads where ad-libbing what they where saying. As you can imagine, this was in the time of Dunphy, Giles, Souness and Brady on the panels, punditry didnt get any better.
