Scott is going to be fuming when he finds out someone has muscled in on his sharing blag transfer rumours from accounts with about 12 followers territory.

Scott is having to compete with the little people now, since Grizz Khan blocked him and issued a decree that he was banned from the ITK royalty accounts.

The Grizz has realised that since twitter now pays for interactions, irrespective of what that interaction is, then it's beneficial for him to unblock people under the pretence of giving everyone a 'fresh start for the new season' so Scott should be back in the game now.

As soon as they flew out for these games any transfer was always going to be set up for them coming back. They were never flying him out late. Should have been wrapped up quicker as he'll never be ready for the start now

In the absence of anything solid on replacements, I’m still not really getting the feelgood factor others seem to have about the departures of Henderson and Fabinho.

A week and a half to the start of the season and our defence and midfield is threadbare and unbalanced.

It's threadbare but looks healthier than it did last season IMO. I think Macca is going to be a great signing.

Eh?

I shared a couple of Indy Khalia tweets, despite a sarcastic caveat, posters moaned at tittle tattle being posted, so I stopped. Journalists only now.

Grizz is a wanker. I don’t follow him and unfortunately he’s not blocked me (maybe my Dunc jibes were too subtle). I do check to see what he says because I can’t believe people fall for his nonsense. I seems 100% convinced we’re signing Lavia, I fully expect him to sign for Chelsea.

He’s a brilliant signing, but I’m not sure his skillset will help our defensive frailties enough.

That Romano fella says we are in talks for a CB from West Ham for the academy.

We seem to be quite active with academy recruitment this year which is good to see. The west ham website says this about him.

Amara Nallo

“I would describe Amara as a Rolls Royce of a centre-back. He has a great left foot and is elegant when he moves with the ball. He can play the ball with both feet and has been working on his heading as well. He’s a player who has a high ceiling.”

Would you really like to see Henderson and Fabinho lining up in midfield for us again.....?

Watching them get run past, by and through?

Watching them be exposed time and time again - watching them fail to win challenges over and over and in Fabinno's case arrive about 20 mins too late and give away yet another foul?

Seeing the shite passing that bogs us down or worse plays us into trouble and then seeing them showing all the athleticism of a drunk staggering around with a kebab as they make half arsed attempts to get back?

Them being bin bagged will help us in so many ways and we'll look like a Klopp team again as opposed to some fading slow motion impression of one.

The new players we already have will make a difference and the new ones that will arrive will add to that and we'll better as a result.

Joyce reporting that the new Lavia bid is due to be sent over and that Klopp wants a defender (although couldn't check that second bit from the times preview). Wish they'd get a move on.

Also reports that the first bid was £38m total, so feels like we were testing the resolve a bit. Soton have made some sales since so no point fucking around here.

Liverpool to make second bid for £50m-rated Roméo Lavia

Jürgen Klopp wants midfield reinforcements with Fabinho set to follow Jordan Henderson in moving to Saudi Arabia

Liverpool will step up their pursuit of Roméo Lavia by making a second bid for the midfielder that is nearer to Southampton’s £50 million asking price.

An offer of £34 million, plus £4 million in add-ons, was rejected last week by the Sky Bet Championship club, who are braced for another approach from Jürgen Klopp’s side.

Lavia has emerged as Klopp’s prime target to bolster his midfield options, with Fabinho set to follow Jordan Henderson in moving to Saudi Arabia.

Liverpool have been reluctant to meet the £50 million threshold for the 19-year-old Belgium international and it remains to be seen whether a compromise can be reached with Southampton.
Lavia, who made 29 Premier League appearances last season, has also attracted attention from Chelsea as an alternative to their drawn-out pursuit of Brighton & Hove Albion’s Moisés Caicedo. However, Lavia remains keen to join Liverpool, who have added Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai to their squad in this window.
Klopp has utilised Trent Alexander-Arnold, Curtis Jones and the 18-year-old James McConnell in the No 6 role in pre-season, but needs another specialist, with Stefan Bajcetic, also 18, working his way back from injury.

One of the reasons why Liverpool were reluctant to meet Southampton’s price tag was because of the impact of Bajcetic, who is a year younger than Lavia, last season.

However, that stance has been changed by the interest in Fabinho from Al-Ittihad and the departure of Henderson for Al-Ettifaq. Klopp also stated that he would ideally want to sign a defender this summer, with Joël Matip entering the final year of his contract.

Liverpool beat Leicester City 4-0 on Sunday, with a game against Bayern Munich on Wednesday bringing to an end their pre-season stay in Singapore.
