Mcmanaman was suggested every time we substituted a player it's because they were injured.

He even name checked Nunez with konate and Gomez at the end for injuries that would spoil the night. It's almost like he's an evertonian desperate for our season to fall apart.

Liverpool are still assessing the fitness of defender Ibrahima Konate ahead of Sunday’s Premier League fixture with Manchester City at Anfield.

The centre-back was a 51st-minute substitute in the 5-1 Europa League victory over Sparta Prague on Thursday night, requiring on-field treatment ahead of his exit from the contest at Stadion Letna.

Speaking in his pre-City press conference on Friday afternoon, Jürgen Klopp gave an update on the general state of his squad: "Yeah, fresh, Joe [Gomez] is fine - Ibou, I don’t know.

"Ibou was rather positive last night, he thought he made the right decision in the right moment saying it’s better I go [off]. But how we know, that doesn’t mean a lot unfortunately. He will get scanned, definitely, [but] so far I don’t have the results of that. All the others are fine."

Asked about Mohamed Salah specifically following his return, he added: "Mo, there is nothing. He is fine.

I think I see where they buried Thiago in the background.

“Cut the body into parts so it will fit in a smaller hole. Dig a hole in a secluded, but pleasant spot. Place the parts in. Pour in the lye. Fill the hole in and cover with some brush.”

Gravenberch training with the first team

Bajectic was training outside on grass, though on his own yesterday

Will be handy to get those 2 back for rotation purposes.

Klopp on Clark:

He is the only one we worry a little bit [about injury-wise]; I hope it’s nothing but he sat there and said he felt something, so we had to take him off. Besides that, everybody else should be fine.

Just watched Klopps press conference.

Konate not training, have to see tomorrow, might not get ready for the mancs.

Jones should be fit after the international break.

Jota and Trent should be ready for Brighton or Sheff Utd, most likely Sheff Utd.

Bajcetic now doing his pre-season, should be ready after the international break.

Nothing on Alisson or Thiago.

It would be great to see a few of them back for the last 8 games (and whatever cup games we have).

Klopp originally thought Konate would likely make mancs game - always longer than expected isn't it.

Probably the best day of the season for injury news though. Having Trent, Jones and Jota for the run in will be brilliant. It's just a question of getting them some rhythm, but hopefully uefa can help with that.

No slight on Trent and Jones, but we haven’t missed them at all thanks to Bradley and the collective midfield efforts.

We’ve undoubtedly missed Jota.

Will be great to be able to bring on 3/4 senior players on 60 minutes in the remaining games. Had a huge impact early in the season.
