It's not good but fullback,left side especially is probably our deepest position with Tsimikas and Gomez there.

Yeah but it is just more agg. It just stretches the defensive options again - Gomez is never far away from possibly being needed at RB or centre half as well!

And for this run in, robbo would be one of the more important players. Not just for what he's capable of as a left back, but because he's a real leader in the team.

Before break Jones was probably the only one likely to be back this weekend.

 

Nunez had his hamstring issue that you'd hope not playing in international shite and resting has helped, but this is us of course and we'll probably find out tomorrow he is out for a month!

 

Konate played in international shite despite not playing for us beforehand - be interesting to see if he has held up.

 

Robbo obviously went off last night.

 

We'll have to see who else has picked up knocks etc over the course of the international shite.

 

The updates on Alisson, Jota and TAA will be interesting as all would hopefully be coming back into contention over next couple of weeks or so - what progress has been made over last week or so?

 

Bajcetic has been stepping up his work, hopefully be further positive news about him.

Just seen a video on YouTube with someone doing a training ground tour. Courtney Neary she was called.
Mo, Endo, Grav and Nunez all training. Jota was doing work on another pitch. Matip was running again.

Klopp came over and was quizzed by fans. Said Robbo was in the scan at the time of speaking, Alli two to three weeks away still.

Trent not far off but another week still.
