Mobile Phone recommendations?

My contract expires soon and I'm not signing up to a handset deal again as it's a massive fucking rip off.

I'm looking to buy a phone outright.

I'm not arsed about new models etc, I just want something with the most bang for it's buck. Primarily one that can run a few different apps at once without them restarting again soon as you switch windows.

Not sure if I trust those Chinese phones either.

Looking to spend about £400.

iPhone's are way better than Android. I never thought I'd say that as I've always felt Apple are style over substance but they're much more reliable and stable. Feature packed iOS. You can probably get a decent iPhone 11 for about £400.

Nope, if you want to keep Google store stuff then Android has to be kept on. Can you not keep an Android and get an iPhone?

Kind of defeats the purpose. I don't want to be carrying around two phones.

I want to leave the network I've been with for 20 years because I've had signal problems since they 'upgraded' the system 18 months ago and my contract is up for renewal soon.

They say there is no problem but my phone, my Mrs' phone, my Daughter's and my Son in Laws say different.

I've been thinking about iD Mobile as they have some good deals.

They use the Three network who boast about 99% UK coverage, but O2 claim similar and they've been garbage for me lately.

Does anyone here use them and are they any good?

Had IPhones since they were released but thinking of getting a Google pixel 7a. Do you know how easy it is to transfer photos and stuff over?

To transfer data from an iPhone to a Google Pixel, there are several options available.3 One way is to use the Phone Transfer app on a computer, connect the iPhone and Pixel phones to the computer, select the source phone as the iPhone and the destination as the Pixel, and choose the data files to copy.2 Another option is to sign up for a Google account and sync the data immediately with 15 GB of cloud space. However, this only supports syncing contacts, calendars, emails, and notes from the iPhone.1 Alternatively, you can download the Move to iOS app on your Android device and ensure that the content you're moving, including what's on your external Micro SD card, will fit on your new iOS device.0 Additionally, you can go to Contacts Sync > Accounts > iPhone Account to Sync and choose your Google account.

Cheers mate.

I thought my contract expired in September but it's October.

My lad has just switched to them after being with Vodafone for 14 years.

He wanted the Pixel 7 Pro which is the one I want but Vodafone's deals were shite. £56 per month on a 36 month contract.

ID mobile  have it with unlimited data for £30 per month on a 24 month contract with £79 upfront, a cracking deal, so he took the plunge.

He says it has a stronger signal than Vodafone so he's made up with it.

Thanks for your input.

Thinking of treating myself to a new phone, the first in about 5 years.

My current phone is a Cubot X20 Pro and it's been fantastic. Well made, cheap, 128GB RAM and 8GB ROM, but it sporting Android 9 and is just starting to show its age.

Thinking about an Oukitel C35 for around £135. Android 13, 12GB ROM and 256 GB RAM. Ticks all the boxes.

Anybody with any experience of this phone?
