it's getting them to work with the FBs and rest of the team that takes time.  The defence plays as a unit.

At least Fabinho is back from his minor issue....i mean he has missed more games with it as a precaution than Sir Slobber Chops Harold of Kaneshire has just missed with two broken legs but hey!!

Anyway lets beat these oil cheating twats.

I think it’s unlikely we'll win given the pedestrian style of play that line-up encourages but you never know given that City will be more predisposed to attack than most teams. If we score first, a shock isn’t out of the question.
 

Needs changing immediately if they should take the lead though, because there won’t be a comeback with that - there’s no point wasting more than the time it takes for the substitute centre back to get warmed up and ready, whether that’s in the first minute or the 80th.

Can't complain at the lineup , about as good as could be expected. Throwing Kabak into his debut is this game would have been very risky imo.

With Shaqiri's and Milner's contribution in recent weeks, plus Keita coming back, I can see a lot more of this back line too.

Hasn't got that feel at all today for me.

There's no overwhelming need for Kabak in this game anyway, when the City front line is essentially 3 attacking midfielders, or wingers.

Kabak will get games, just always was gonna take maybe up to a month after signing.

 

Fabinho/Kabak will probably be our '1st choice' pair going forward...once Fabinho gets injured it will be interesting.

 

Luckily season is closer to being over now than it is the start and we can put it all behind us soon enough.

Looking at the fixtures we've got I can't see either Kabak or Davies being in the frame until the Sheffield United game at the end of this month at the earliest. 

 

With Matip out for the season as well now, At least one of Henderson or Fabinho will be in the back four for the rest of the season.

No overwhelming need for an actual centre half against the best attacking outfit in the league?

Do we now have four centre backs that aren't injured? Davies, Phillips, Kabak and Williams? 

 

I mean obviously, we don't actually think any of them are better than our central midfielders at centre back but, we've got four of them. That's got to count for something right?

I can see him being 1st choice versus:

 

Phillips

Williams

Davies

 

Unless of course Klopp keeps Henderson in that list.....but i just can't see that.
