I think the hair transplant may have been a mistake. He’s tried to curry favour with the boss by going down that route. Probably went for it as a tribute to Jurgen. It’s backfired though. It’s possible that Klopp now feels overshadowed by Shaqiri’s transformation. Either way only one winner in this situation so he’ll probably be on his way.

Agreed. I think he’s been quite unfairly treated to be honest. He has had injuries, but that’s not why he’s always overlooked. Much better option than Origi and Ox in that role. Mind bending.

Let’s be honest: He’s nobody’s first, second or even third choice replacement for whatever your preferred midfield trio is, and Jota’s arrival pushes him well down the pecking order up front.

He better hope he's fit to play against Lincoln in the Carabao before the transfer window closes. That's going to be the height of his involvement this season, if he stays. With the options we have now, there's no chance he even makes the bench in the league.
