Well, of course the fairest way of funding the Social Care shortfall is to hit National Insurance payments, as it affects the waged PAYE most of all and largley ignore private pension, private rental incone, investment income or any other fucking thing which would be fairer like a rise in income tax across the board.

So making the young and less well off pay for the lions share, blindingly playing to galleries.

Well done for staying so on brand, tossers.

I wonder how many Tory voters would support this bastard : How a proposed secrecy law would recast journalism as spying. Any Labour Party or coalition that gets into power in the future had better have this as a priority for being reversed if it passes.

Gets drowned out in the, artificially created, noise, this has been known about for a while.

There's so much that they are forcing through which is anti-democratic that you really have to question their motives as this has gone beyond reasonable testing the boundries of what is permissible and 'Fair' into really dark territory.

If we have a new government anytime soon they have a real task undoing all of this bullshit as every bill is filled with small, insidious, caveats that consolidate/remove power legally and they are doing so much it's difficult to keep up as the next one rushes at you as you're trying to figure out why they are doing something else that specifically limits a body or institution.

It doesn't look like many of them are into the idea of democracy at this point and if they are it's getting really hard to notice. In the past we could at least hope for Tory rebels to keep the madness in check but when they all backed the Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill recently it was a good reminder of how crazed they've become I think.

Standard procedure, if you have no money and criticise capitalism or the how we do/don't help people you're jealous. If you have money and do so you'll be attacked for having money and called a hypocrite.

What odds on the article using the term "champagne socialist" multiple times?

Patel is such a horrible little cunt.

She getting battered in the Liaison Committee and has absolutely no interest in answering questions and is avoiding questioning by effectively saying ‘stop being mean to me’.

Clueless fucking imp.

I've just put it on and already I want to lay into my telly with an axe

You've missed Cooper essentially calling her stupid and a liar, that was a highlight.

She's being torn apart and it's lovely to watch, as pyrrhic as that is.

I love the glances off screen where another lackie gives her some info as she clearly has no real knowedge of her brief beyond simple sound bites.

At least Thatcher Had the likes of hesaltine.

How can any normal working person look at the likes of Johnson, gove, reece mogg etc and think..yep I'm sure they have my best interests at heart?
