Agree with all that.

I miss the days when jokes and speeches for example were your own, now any bellend can be the world's funniest Best Man because he's nicked all his speech material from YouTube.

It's ruined news by making it free. Not only the recent development of 'fake news' and clickbait, but also by making people think it's something that should be freely available, rather than something that requires effort to produce, which means rather than having stuff produced by journos who've worked the patch for 30 years, it's belted out by 18-year-olds and not even checked for errors.

Porn in a great shout. I remember sneaking a look at the odd soft core Swedish porno on Cable back in the day (the code was 9999) and it was the greatest thing ever. The more freely available and hard core it got,  the less of an impact it had on you. completely desensitised to it now.

Keyboard warriors who would not say boo to your face or hold such strong opinions in reality.

That's been the best part of the Internet. Previously, people could hold horrible opinions because they had strength in numbers. Now, you're just one voice and the smartest and most compassionate can shut down your bullshit.

Is that why Brexit happened and Trump got elected?

Cos - the good voices won over?

Decent argument that world has gotten more authoritarian as the internet has grown.

Where was SteveO from GoT when Hitler was on the rise? He'd have done him over with stats.

To be fair you’ve changed from a murderous communist to someone who thinks poetry will change the world.
